The delta serves as the lifeblood to the animals that call this area home and a place where thirst compels them to converge. Game viewing is mostly water based, in dugout canoes and there is an excellent chance of seeing elephant, lion, hippo, crocodile and a large variety of antelope and exquisite birdlife, as one glides silently over the water. Land-based viewing options in open safari vehicles are also on offer.
